Quick Start-up Guide

Apply a MUSTreusables label on each of your selected container, please make sure that the QR codes are accessible for scanning with a cell phone or a mobile device.  (Each label is customized with a unique container ID’s and corresponding QR code).  

REGISTER AN AUTHORIZED USER These are the users authorized by a restaurant to login on their behalf

YOUR RESTAURANT ID (Rest_ID) is required for the registration process.  There is no limit on the number of users a restaurant can registered on the database.

Login to update a container record:

  • Scan the QR code to access container information,
  • Login when required using your registered email and password.
  • An authorized access will stay activated for 2 hours after the last use

Public Use of the MUSTreusables Solution

This group of information includes the required deposit amount for the selected container, the address(es) and the deadline when customers have to return a container to get a refund.

In case customers want to keep a container for their private use (i.e., keep past the return deadline), the deposit amount, collected by the restaurant, will be their cost for the container.  At its end-of-life a container should be returned back to the restaurant for proper recycling.

With the MUSTreusables system, restaurants have the option to provide food related information to improve customer satisfaction of their takeout foods.  Once prepared and made available online, an item on the restaurant takeout menu can be selected when filling or checking-out a container, and its food related information will be attached and become part of the container information.

If available, select “More details about the Menu item“ will display the following information for the currently contained food item:

  • How to best prepare, serve, and/or preserve the takeout food?
  • Any health related warning that the consumer needs to be made aware of?
  • What is the typical nutritional value per serving for this particular takeout food?
  • Container material indicates the exact type of material that was used in the manufacturing of a container.
  • Reused-cycles counter keeps track of the number of cycles that each container reaches at any point in time. This indicates the reusability of the current container when compared to the other types of containers.
  • Availability of recycling data indicates that useful information, needed to create the best recycling condition for a container, do exist on the MUSTreusables database. Recycling data, accessible with an authorized access, allows end-of-life containers to be returned uncontaminated back to the sources, and the right quality of feedstock material to be controlled during recycling process.

Additional Setup for All System Features & Benefits

Quick-start allows restaurants to offer a guilt-free container solution quickly, at a later date additional setup is strongly recommended to achieve other significant benefits that the system has to offer (setup links are shown in capital, login will be required and authorized access will stay activated for 2 hours):

ADDING/EDITING CONTAINER INFORMATION :  Use this link to display a list of all containers that belong to your restaurant.  Alternatively you can scan the QR code of a specific container to edit its information.  Restaurant management and optimization of the return-for-reuse process can be done by modifying the deposit amount, the deadline to return-for-refund for each type of container.

SUBMIT YOUR TAKEOUT MENU ONLINE :  Use this link to submit food related information for each food item on your takeout menu.  This will allow and an item on your menu to be selected and attached to a container record.  This feature is appreciated by many takeout food’s customers and it will greatly improve your takeout food business.

To select and attach a food item on your menu to a container:  Scan the QR code of the checked out container when filling a takeout order.  Scroll down and click “Login to update Deposit or Refund”, after login scroll to “Menu Item”, click on the menu item window, select the ordered takeout item, and click “update”.

Implementation is very simple, but MUSTreusables services are also made available to help you get all benefits from the system in the shortest amount of time.
